Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sub Vault mobile app and the website at subvault.space (together, "Sub Vault" or the "Service"), provided by Elite Developers LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sub Vault you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Sub Vault helps you keep track of your subscriptions, store the login details of your accounts, and keep important documents such as passports, ID cards, residence permits, licences and contracts, with reminders before renewals and expiry dates.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Sub Vault.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date: it is used for verification codes and important notices.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and devices secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at tech@subvault.space if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you add to Sub Vault, including subscriptions, saved logins, people, documents and files ("Your Content").
• You give us permission to store, encrypt, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, for example to read the details of a document you upload or to send you reminders.
• When you add information or documents about other people, such as family members or employees, you confirm that you are allowed to do so and that they are aware of it where the law requires.
• How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Sub Vault for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to hold;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around our security measures;
• interfere with or overload the Service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. Free and paid plans

• Sub Vault is free to start. Paid plans add higher limits. Current plans, prices and limits are shown in the app before you pay.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never receive or store your card details.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app (Plans → Cancel auto-renewal); you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may keep your plan active for a short grace period before moving your account to the free plan. Content above the free plan's limits is kept but hidden until you upgrade again or remove other items.
• We may change prices with advance notice in the app or by email. A new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

6. Reminders and documents

Reminders are a convenience. They depend on your device settings, notification permissions and network connection, and may be delayed or not delivered. You remain responsible for renewing your subscriptions and documents on time, and for checking that the details you save, including those read automatically from a scan, are correct. Keep the original of any important document; Sub Vault is not a substitute for official records.

7. Security

We protect your data with measures such as AES-256 encryption of saved passwords, document numbers and files, encrypted connections, and one-time codes before a saved password is revealed. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your data will never be accessed without authorisation.

8. Third-party services

Sub Vault relies on third parties such as app stores, our payment provider, our email provider and push-notification services. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites, including the services you track in the app, are provided for your convenience only.

9. Apple and Google

If you downloaded Sub Vault from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Elite Developers LLC only, not Apple or Google, and that we, not Apple or Google, are responsible for the app and its content. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) paid for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer-protection claims, and claims that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Sub Vault at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently deletes Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the law, or that put the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your particular needs.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed renewals, late fees, fines, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Sub Vault after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute relating to them or to the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Qatar, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
